The micro holographic effect paint is actually made of the thinnest particles actually available (just the size of a cell: 0.012mm).
The paint shows an incredible rainbow effect over any surface, by defragmenting the light in all the color of the spectrum (violet, blue, green , yellow, orange, red, violet....)
The paint is half transparent and it may turn into a silver colored finish when applied by many coats. The paint can be applied over white, silver or black basecoat to achieve different finishes.
Composition : solvented paint.
Mixing : Ready to spray. Shake well before use.
Use : Spraygun 0.8-1.2mm, airbrush 0.15-0.5mm
Pressure : 2-2.5 bars
Application :
A glossy and hardened 2K basecoat is needed to obtain the best results. These undercoat should be dried since at least 24h. For best results, the surfacee must be perfectly glossy, dried, hardened and clean. It s also possible to scuff it a little bit with a ultra fine Scotch Brite.
The application will be made with a few ultra thin passes (spray more air than paint) . Do not spray thick or overcharged passes.
Clearcoat Application : Like the chrome paint, the Spectrum paint is fragile and may be sensitive to direct clearcoating. To avoid the loss of effect, it s strongly recommended to start with 3/4 flash coats (1% clear , 99% air) spaced of 1 to 2 minutes. Then the clearcoat can be applied normally with 2 wet coats.
